The kōrero (story/narrative) behind these designs isn't about them individually as Te Marama & Te Rā, but moreso about them as a collective and how they represent day and night, opposites. I (Nichola) have always been fascinated with opposites, good/bad, dark/light, up/down... and how we hold both (within ourselves), this whakaaro (thought) can be interrupted in many ways and I have always found it to be an interesting discussion topic.
You can purchase these as the same earrings: so a Te Marama pair or a Te Rā pair. Or you can purchase them as opposites: which means you will get 1x Te Marama earring and 1x Te Rā earring.

Size : LRG: 4 - 5cm in length
Earring material: Silver Mirror Perspex.
Earring hooks : Silver plated (NF) hooks.
